PVent Biofungicide is an enhancement in microbial fungicide technology, providing growers with an easy-to-use, versatile IPM tool. This innovative development was spearheaded through a strategic partnership between two family-owned businesses: BioSafe Systems and Lallemand Plant Care.
BioSafe’s Sustainable Soils Program combines decades of experience and trust in fumigation practices to drive innovation in biorational and sustainable crop protection solutions. The strategic partnership between BioSafe and Lallemand, built off collective expertise, makes PVent one of the most concentrated EPA-registered biofungicides in its category. Powered by three modes of action, PVent is biologically programmed to rapidly colonize its host environment to defend against, attack and destroy even the most resilient plant pathogens.
PVent’s active ingredient is a 93% Gliocladium catenulatum Strain J1446, originally isolated from natural Finnish soils. The J1446 Strain includes some unique adaptation traits, including its enhanced ability to thrive and reproduce across broad temperature and humidity ranges. PVent’s G. catenulatum Strain J1446 was isolated and researched extensively due to its natural symbiotic relationship with the plant rhizosphere, the stem and foliar surfaces, and most importantly its versatility in an IPM program – this is due to an enzyme secreted by G. catenulatum, specifically targeting pathogenic fungi.
PVent is formulated into a wettable granule (WG) that can be readily dispersed, mixed and applied through multiple practices.

Purpinator 0-2-4 from Rhizoflora
What is Purpinator?
Purpinator is a specialty nutrient additive formulated to deliver increased flavonoid, terpenoid, and resin production in your plants. In addition to these benefits, Purpinator will improve the coloration of plants with purple phenotypes. Much like its predecessor, Terpinator, Purpinator activates the metabolic pathways for trichome and terpene production in plants by providing the building blocks for these processes. Purpinator will also regulate the pH of the cell sap in plant vacuoles, resulting in a more neutral cell sap pH which yields increased purple coloration expressed in the plant.
How to Use
Purpinator can be deployed in any growing system and is designed to be used as a root drench for your soil, coco, or hydroponic growing media. Purpinator is not intended for use as a foliar spray. Combine with blue-light treatments in the 400-500nm spectrum to improve anthocyanin production.
USAGE RATES:
● 2-5mL/Gallon – Vegetative Stage (Week 1-4)
● 6-15mL/Gallon – Early Bloom Stage (Week 5-9)
● 20-30mL/Gallon – Late Bloom Stage (Week 9-Flush or Harvest)
Why use Purpinator?
Purpinator was designed to specifically improve the color production of cultivars with purple phenotypes, terpene and trichome production, and resin production while also addressing the additional nutrient requirements for those processes in the plant. Traditional methods for improving purple coloration can involve cold temperature treatments, which can be costly or inconvenient, especially in greenhouse environments; Purpinator eliminates the need for these treatments by enhancing the plant’s ability to produce color influencing compounds. Purpinator contains no plant growth regulators, no heavy metals, and can be easily incorporated into any pre-existing nutrient regimen, making it a truly versatile product that any grower can bring on with ease.
GROWER’S TIPS:
● Improves purple coloration in capable cultivars
● Improves aromatics, flavors, and potency
● Increases resin production and terpene concentration
● Add supplemental blue light in the 400-500nm range for further color improvement
