Active Aqua’s Grow Flow is the most efficient ebb & flow system on the market. With the Grow Flow’s easy-to-program controller unit, you can pretty much “set it and forget it.” And since your pumps are only pumping a short time each day, the system is extremely reliable and efficient. Just set the fill and drain cycles, and the controller unit does the rest! As for safety, the Grow Flow is the only unit available with fail-safe overflow protection. If the float valve stops operating, the LED indicator lights up on the control panel and the emergency shut-off valve automatically shuts down the system, preventing any spillage or damage to your growing area. Active Aqua 2.0 Ultra-Low 4X8 Trays by Staal Plast are the ideal low profile flood trays for single tray mobile bench systems. They are manufactured with 3 layers of high impact polystyrene material for extra strength and durability. The top layer includes an anti-UV stabilizer to protect it from color change. The tray channels/gutters have a unique design feature that increases the water level slightly for plants along the tray edges. This can be beneficial for growers using the ebb and flow irrigation method. When water is drained from the tray, the plants along the edges will be irrigated a little longer than the other plants. This design will prevent plants from so called “rim effect” by combating the increased ventilation along tray edges. The slight lift along the tray edges helps grow a more uniform crop and increase yields.

Screen fitting. This fitting is used for the flood/drain cycle in flood tables. The screened design allows nutrient solution to flow freely during flooding while preventing growing media from the table—especially when using LECA/grow rocks—from getting into the pump and reservoir during draining.
