Adding your products
What can you sell on HorticultureSource.com? New gardening supplies under any of our product categories from any brand!
An IPv4 IP address is required to upload photos or you can send us your images so we can apply them to your account/product.
Product listing details
To start selling a product on HorticultureSource.com, you’ll create a product listing in Vendor Dashboard. A product listing includes:
- A SKU, which is a unique product ID used to track your inventory
- Offer details, including regular and sale price, availability, and shipping class
- Product details like: title, category, description and image
- Keywords and search terms (tags) to help buyers find your product
Conditions
Usisu, Inc. offers a Service where approved Vendors (“You” or “Seller”) may list unrestricted products for sale on the HorticultureSource.com Hydroponic Gardening Marketplace. Verified and approved Vendors can create products from a dashboard, manage orders and most importantly create their own store! Vendors will benefit from having their items advertised on the web and available for purchase on a popular, responsive, high traffic and visibility website and mobile app. Vendor orders will be emailed. The Vendor will be paid the shipping and the price of products less our referral commission of 6% plus $0.50 which helps cover our payment processing costs, advertising of your products, technical infrastructure and code updates and maintenance as well as administrative fees, etc. Sales proceeds will be redeemable for completed orders via PayPal after 91 days with a $100 payout minimum. It is the Vendor’s responsibility to have appropriate licenses & permits, be an authorized reseller, perform regular and timely shipment of products, deal with customers & inquiries, handle all returns, collect and remit any applicable tax, be liable for all payment disputes, fees, taxes, duty, copyrights, trademarks, etc. relating to the Vendor product listings or sales thereof. We reserve the right to approve Vendors at our sole discretion and to cancel Vendor approval or listings at anytime for any reason not limited to Vendor Agreement violation.
In order to be considered we will need information about the Vendor business and products such as the names and contact information of the owners, completed W9, current reseller Permit as well as information about where from and where to and how Vendor ships and what products Vendor sells. If we feel that the Vendor business is a good fit we will notify the Vendor via email; Which will be the method of all communication. Once verified and approved the Vendor can list products. All items must be brand new. Vendor product listings must fit in with the esthetic of the site and visually compliment other products listings on HorticultureSource.com. Vendors may use their logo on their storefront page. Only product images are allowed on product listings, no logos or watermarks of any kind are permitted. Vendor may embed product videos but other code or links off site are prohibited. Pricing and other product information is the responsibility of the Vendor as is any and all liability.
Product Information and Other Content
Vendor agrees and warrants that any and all Vendor Content: (a) will be truthful, accurate, and not misleading or otherwise deceptive; (b) will not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party such as copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights, rights of publicity or privacy; (c) will not violate any applicable Law; (d) will not be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing; and (e) will not create liability for HorticultureSource.com. Vendor agrees that any and all Vendor Content may be publicly displayed by HorticultureSource.com as HorticultureSource.com sees fit and at no charge to HorticultureSource.com. Vendor will only provide Vendor Content for Products that fit into the categories or parameters approved in writing by HorticultureSource.com. Vendor may provide HorticultureSource.com with Vendor Content for Products in additional categories or parameters only upon the prior written consent by HorticultureSource.com (which may be given by email). If Vendor receives Customer ratings or reviews for its Products directly or through third parties, then HorticultureSource.com and Vendor may mutually agree to have Vendor provide such ratings and reviews to HorticultureSource.com as part of the Vendor Content.
Restricted Businesses/Products
HorticultureSource.com only sells Gardening Supplies and directly related accessories. The following categories of businesses and business practices are restricted from using the HorticultureSource.com Service (“Restricted Businesses”). Restricted Business categories may be imposed through Network Rules or the requirements of our Financial Services Providers. In certain cases, businesses listed below may be eligible for processing with explicit prior approval from HorticultureSource.com. Note, however, that businesses that offer illegal products or services are never eligible to use the HorticultureSource.com Services. The types of businesses listed below are representative, but not exhaustive. By registering with us, you are confirming that you will not use the Service to accept payments in connection with the following businesses, business activities, or business practices, unless you have received prior written approval from HorticultureSource.com.
