Prima Elements is a concentrated, blend of Iodine, Bromine, Fluorine, Lithium, Molybdenum, Vanadium and Minor Trace Elements designed to restore and maintain inside the Reef Aquarium the correct “Iodine Levels” as well as to replenish Trace elements normally depleted by utilization, precipitation and oxidation.
Iodine is a mineral that usually runs short very quickly inside our marine aquaria. In natural seawater its concentration is about 60 part per billion (0,06 mg/Lt) and can be even higher in coastal water. Iodine plays an active role in the formation of UV-protective pigment in the corals tissue. Many marine aquariums shows lack of this element which cannot be eliminated by simply water changes.
Prima Elements, offers to the reef hobbyist an easy way to add microelements while adding Iodine to significantly simplify the periodic integration of fundamental elements to community marine aquaria.
