Octagonal “cross” design provides a double tungsten carbide contact surface while sharpening, doubling your contact with the blade. The ultra-hard 1.25-inch cross configured tungsten carbide surface easily sharpens the hardest of steels. Special design also easily evacuates the removed blade material from the sharpening plane. Removable 3-inch diameter circular protective guard prevents hand slipping and protects user from cuts and abrasions.
