Universal 5KV position oriented socket accepts both Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium lamps. Will accept horizontal Metal Halide lamps.For horizontal metal halide applications, position and attatch the socket so that the pin slot is at the 9:00 o'clock position. This will position the lamps arc tube correctly for the longest life and brightest light output.
