| ||Good qualities about the pile of Raindrip analog timers I have on my garden cart |
- These timers had the most useful settings for my purposes
- The older ones made a great supply of spare parts for the newer ones
- The heavy duty UV resistant ABS plastic is beloved by recyclers
- I think some of the motors and battery connections can be salvaged on one or two
I have a very small irrigation system that doesn\'t need a monster, expensive irrigation system. It does need a timer. When I began buying these timers, they had a one or two year product warranty. It has since been dropped to 90 and I beleive 30 days.
Silly me, thinking I\'d just got a bad unit in the early days. I once got a year out of one unit, it\'s never been as good since. A perfect example of a company committing reputation suicide by selling a good product made as cheap as could be bought.
Do not buy these timers, do not buy pressure regulators sold by Raindrip. Other Raindrip products work fine.
